GAKO Air Solutions considers it important that gako-ks.co.il be accessible to people with disabilities, and works to make it so under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.
Accessibility level
The Site has been partially adapted to Israeli Standard SI 5568 Part 1, "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines", at level AA. The standard is based on the W3C's WCAG 2.0. WCAG 2.1 level AA guidance has also been applied wherever possible.
Main accessibility features
- The page language and reading direction are declared, so screen readers detect them.
- A hierarchical heading structure and marked navigation regions for quick movement around the page.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a clear indication of the element in focus.
- Text-to-background colour contrast in line with the standard.
- Alternative text for images that carry content.
- A label for every form field, and error messages in text.
- Layout adapted to phones and small screens, and text enlargement up to 200% without loss of content.
- When reduced motion is set on the device, the Site turns off animations.
- No content on the Site plays automatically or flashes.
Browsers and assistive technology
The Site has been tested in Chrome and Safari on desktop and mobile. Screen-reader testing has not yet been carried out.
Known limitations
Some parts of the Site may not yet be fully accessible:
- downloadable documents from external sources, such as the Fire and Rescue Authority's Form 16;
- external services outside our control, such as WhatsApp.
We will gladly provide inaccessible content in another way, for example by email or phone.
