This policy explains what data we collect, why, who receives it and what your rights are. It was written in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, including Amendment 13, and supplements the Terms of Use.

Privacy requests are handled by the Company's management at info@gako-ks.co.il. The Company is not among the bodies required by law to appoint a privacy protection officer, but a single person has nonetheless been made responsible for handling privacy requests.

2. What data we collect

Data you provide in forms on the Site. Depending on the form: first and last name, phone number, email address, organisation or company name, job title, customer type and need, number of kitchens or sites, expected inspection date, status of the previous cleaning certificate (Form 16), the content of your message, and files you choose to attach where a form allows it.

Data you provide when you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email. Your phone number, the name shown on your account, your email address and the content of your message.

Technical data generated while browsing. IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and time of visit. This is logged by our hosting provider for operational and security purposes.

Data from measurement cookies. Only if you consent. Details are in the Cookie Policy.

We do not ask for sensitive data such as medical information or ID numbers. Please do not include such data in messages or files.

Some of our service providers store data on servers outside Israel, mainly in the United States and Europe. Transfers are made in accordance with the Protection of Privacy (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 5761-2001.

7. How long we keep data

We keep data for as long as it is needed to handle the enquiry and the business relationship, and then for up to three years from the last contact, unless the law requires a longer period. At the end of that period the data is deleted.

8. Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect data, in line with the Protection of Privacy (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017: encrypted transport (HTTPS), access limited to those who need the data for their work, and providers that meet accepted security standards. No security measure eliminates all risk, so please do not send data through the Site that is not needed for your enquiry.

If a serious security incident affects data we hold, we will act as the law requires, including notifying the Privacy Protection Authority and informing the people concerned where the law requires it.

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, and we do not build personal profiles from browsing on the Site.
