Industrial extraction and ventilation systems
GAKO designs and installs extraction systems in plants, from individual stations at different points on the floor to a central system for the whole plant, and maintains them over the years. The design follows the type of contaminant and the production process.

Plants with existing extraction systems
Many plants in Israel already have extraction systems, including woodworking, rubber, steel, food, paper and cardboard plants. Some systems serve stations at different points in the plant, and others are a single central system for the whole plant. GAKO services both types, and expands an existing system when a production line is added.

Scope of work
A complete system, from the emission point to the roof
A good extraction system starts at the point where the contaminant is generated. That point determines the duct diameter, the air velocity, the type of filtration and the size of the fan.
- Local exhaust at workstations: extraction arms, hoods and downdraft tables
- Dust collectors and filtration systems with bags or cartridges
- Sheet-metal and flexible ducting, and duct rerouting
- Centrifugal and axial fans, replacement and upgrades
- Expanding and adapting an existing system for a new production line

Maintenance
Restoring and maintaining an older system
In most cases an existing system can be brought back to proper operation through cleaning, filter replacement, airflow balancing and fan repair. The work begins with an on-site survey and continues under a maintenance contract.

Frequently asked questions
Who do you coordinate the work with at the plant?
With the maintenance and operations manager and the safety officer. Work dates are set so that production is interrupted as little as possible.
Can you provide a supplier pack for our procurement department?
Yes. Select 'Supplier pack for procurement' in the contact form and we will send the required documents.
Do you service systems installed by other companies?
Yes. GAKO also maintains systems installed by other companies, including older systems.
